GUE trained divers have been active in the UK since the mid-nineties. The most prominent of these groups was DIR-UK, formed by Graham and Sue Davison, Andy Kerslake and John Grogan. This group has been conducting regular wreck exploration dives in the English Channel for over ten years now.

Since GUE began to actively teach in the UK back in 2003, many divers from around the country have been trained and found themselves looking for other similarly trained divers near to their homes with whom they could dive. Over the past few years, these groups have grown into their own small communities of GUE trained divers, all passionate about diving and the rich underwater environment in the UK.

On these pages, you can find information about these groups, what diving they are doing, and how to get in touch. What we’d like to see is an expansion here in both the number of groups and the scope of the diving, so if you have a group of GUE divers in your area and want to get on this page, please get in touch and we’ll get a page set up for you.
