Gareth Burrows achieved a lifelong dream when he started diving in 2002. Since then he has taken recreational and technical courses with a variety of intructors and agencies, and dived in waters all around europe. He has been an instructor since 2008 and is a passionate educator, whether coaching business leaders out of the water, or divers under the water. Based in the South of England, his specific interests within diving are diver safety and wreck diving around the UK.
Gareth, known as Garf on the various online resources he writes extensively on, became involved with GUE in 2005, undertaking Tech1 in 2006 and Tech2 in 2008. He dives regularly with Eastboune Sub Aqua Club, and most likely to be found squirreling around inside a wreck off the English channel. Gareth also conducts 1 to 1 coaching for divers, and is always happy to talk away an evening on the phone discussing diving.
